Radoslaw Trojanek
I graduated from the Poznań University of Economics and Business in 2003, earned a PhD in economics in 2007, and achieved habilitation in 2019. I am also a licensed property valuer (authorization no. 5048).
Since 2019, I have been an Associate Professor in the Department of Microeconomics at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. Throughout my academic career, I have held visiting researcher positions at the University of Graz, Austria (03-07/2019 and 10/2020 - 10/2021) and at the University of Connecticut, USA (05-06/2023 and 07/2025 - 01/2026).
My research focuses on various aspects of real estate economics, particularly house price indices, housing market shocks, externalities, market dynamics, and land management.
Over the past two decades, I have built a unique database containing over 6 million property listings and rental offers from major Polish cities, along with comprehensive transaction data from Poznań and Warsaw sourced from official channels. This database forms the foundation of my empirical research.
