I graduated from the Poznań University of Economics and Business in 2003 and earned a PhD in economics in 2007, subsequently achieving tenure in 2019. I am also a property valuer, authorisation no. 5048.
Throughout my academic journey, I held visiting researcher positions at the University of Graz (from March 2019 to July 2019 and from October 2020 to October 2021) and the University of Connecticut (from May 2023 to June 2023).
In 2019, I was appointed an associate professor at the Poznań University of Economics and Business in the Department of Microeconomics. My research focuses on various aspects of the real estate market, including the House price indices, Housing market shocks, Externalities in the housing market, Housing market dynamics, Land Management and Others.
Over the past two decades, I have gathered over 5 million property listings, prices, and rent records in major Polish cities. Additionally, I have compiled a comprehensive dataset on real estate transactions in Poznań and Warsaw sourced from various official channels. Almost all of my research is based on this data.
